The story behind

Ribe’s old City Hall was built before 1496 and has been used as the town’s city hall from 1708 until 2007 when the last town councilor meeting was held. On the walls in the old Commoner’s hall hang a collection of portraits of vassals and councilors from 1600-1900.

Yes, you can bring two witnesses. You must let us know if you have any witnesses so we can inform the staff at Wedding Office.

If you do not have the opportunity to take witnesses, then Ribe City Hall will provide witnesses.

You must attend Ribe City Hall for twenty minutes before your wedding day. The Wedding Office is open Friday between 9 am to 1 pm.

You must bring all the original documents that you have sent to Wedding Planner Denmark and present them to the staff at Wedding Office.
