These terms and conditions outline the rules and responsibilities for using the services provided by Just Married in Denmark. By engaging our services, you agree to these terms, so please read them carefully before proceeding with your wedding arrangements.

1.1. Wedding Planner Denmark offers wedding planning services to international couples wishing to get married in Denmark.
1.2. By using our services, you confirm that you are eligible to marry under Danish law and agree to comply with the guidelines set by Danish authorities such as the Agency of Family Law (AFL) and City Halls.
1.3. Our services aim to assist you in navigating the legal and administrative processes, but we do not represent Danish governmental bodies.
2.1. Responsibility for Documents: It is the couple’s responsibility to submit the correct color and actual-size documents required for their marriage application. If the Agency of Family Law, City Halls, or other Danish authorities assess and determine that your documents are not genuine or insufficient, your wedding arrangements may be canceled. In this case, Just Married in Denmark will not offer refunds for services (Basic Service, Full Service, Express Service, Copenhagen Express Service, or Wedding and Hotel Service).
2.2. Additional Documentation: The AFL may request additional documents after submission. While this cannot be predicted by our team, we will assist you in promptly responding to any further documentation requests. However, delays caused by these additional requests are beyond our control.
3.1. Document Submission: Once we receive your documents, we will prepare and submit your application to the Agency of Family Law on your behalf.
3.2. €255 AFL Application Fee: This fee may be included in some of our service packages, but if not, it is the client’s responsibility to pay this non-refundable fee directly to AFL.
3.3. Responsibility for Delays: We are not responsible for delays caused by incomplete or incorrect documentation provided by the couple. If AFL requires amendments or additional documents, delays may occur, and Just Married in Denmark cannot be held liable.
4.1. Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Visa/Dankort, Visa, Mastercard, Visa Electron, and Maestro for online payments.
4.2. Once the required documents are submitted and you select a service package, payment is due. Payments are non-refundable once the application process has started.
4.3. Prices and VAT: All prices on our website are listed in Euro (EUR) and include 25% Danish VAT.
4.4. Secure Payment: Wedding Planner Denmark uses a secure payment server with SSL encryption, ensuring your payment data is protected.
5.1. No Refunds: Refunds are not available for any of our packages (Basic, Full, Express, Copenhagen Express, or Wedding and Hotel Service) once services have commenced.
5.2. Change of Wedding Date: If you need to change your wedding date:
6.1. Booking and Arranging: We coordinate your ceremony date and venue with your chosen City Hall in Denmark. Availability is dependent on City Hall schedules, and we will do our best to secure your preferred date and time.
6.2. Alternative Dates: If your preferred date is unavailable, we will provide alternative options, including other venues, if required.
6.3. Updates: We will notify you of any changes or updates from City Hall, including modifications to ceremony timing or venue details.
7.1. Legalization Assistance: Wedding Planner Denmark will help you obtain the Apostille Stamp for your marriage certificate, ensuring it is legally recognized internationally.
7.2. Document for Apostille: After you and your partner have been married at City Hall, you must send the marriage certificate to WPD’s address at Bymuren 105, 2. tv., 2650 Hvidovre. Once we have received the document, we will go to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs the following day to obtain the Apostille stamp and send the document to the customer’s residential address.
8.1. Third-Party Services: Just Married in Denmark serves as a liaison between you and third-party service providers (e.g., City Halls, hotels, photographers). If you book services such as the Wedding and Hotel Service, issues such as hotel conditions or cancellations should be resolved with the hotel directly.
8.2. Liability: Wedding Planner Denmark is not liable for any delays, cancellations, or issues arising from decisions made by third-party providers or Danish authorities. Our financial responsibility is limited to the value of the services purchased.
9.1. We collect and process personal data according to our Privacy Policy, ensuring your data is secure and only shared with necessary third parties (e.g., AFL, City Halls).
9.2. Your data is protected using SSL encryption to maintain confidentiality.
10.1. These terms and conditions are governed by Danish law, and any disputes arising will be resolved in the Danish courts.
